The basil grows extremely well and produces an abundant supply. The chives are barely growing at all, and if you are only going to have 3 types of herbs, there are plenty of other more popular herbs they could have picked besides thyme.Unlike the larger aerogardens, this one has been simplified and does not have different plant growing settings (lettuce, herbs, etc.). It also seems to be noisier than my Aerogarden classic (7 hole). If you can afford the classic aerogarden with 6 or 7 holes, I would go with it.
